Israel and the Left
Hardly a conflict is fought by topic as emotional as the Middle East conflict, hardly a state is so critical of how Israel. The ratio of the small country the size of Hesse with its 75 million inhabitants, in the left scene something like the million dollar question. The discussions are rarely aware of, often determined by stereotypes. Neo-fascist and anti-imperialist Trends around the world go since the collapse of state socialism with the anti-Semitic Islamist "resistance struggle" compliant, even though fuel the right-wing extremists at the same racist sentiments against immigrants from Islamic countries.
Robert Short, a prominent Nuremberg journalist and writer, offers the invitation of the Jewish community in Erlangen, in the country working group "Shalom" to the Links Youth 'solid and EXIT! Reading circle of the same theory journal, a critical analysis on "Israel and the Left" . Short is the glorification of the old "anti-imperialism" and its transmission as the Islamist movements and regimes ideological neglect. This is particularly true at the left, since Islamism stands against everything the Left has ever occurred.
